Types of Barcode Labels

Chromo Paper Label

Made from a special one-side coated face paper and printable with either wax ribbon (cost-effective) or resin ribbon (long-lasting). This is the most common type of barcode label.

Direct Thermal Paper Label

Use a special heat-sensitive coating on the face material to print labels without a ribbon. Primarily used in the logistics industry.

Polyester Filmic Label

Made from synthetic materials and known for their durability and resistance to chemicals and abrasion. Available in a variety of finishes—opaque (matte and glossy), transparent, and metallised—and commonly referred to as NT (non-tearable) labels.
